I recently had the chance to connect with Xavier Coiffard, co-founder of LeadLeadBangBang, a lead generation agency that’s leveraging AI to streamline their business.

Xavier has 15 years of dev experience, including 5 as a startup CTO, and shipped 8 products in a year as an indie hacker.

He's now all-in on building LeadLeadBangBang.

Xavier’s team uses AI in multiple ways: a custom GPT for creating cold email campaigns, a tool for personalizing email content, and AI for tagging replies and generating domain names.

One major benefit? They’ve cut their client onboarding time from a day to just a few hours—that's some serious efficiency.

The Tools and the Takeaways

LeadLeadBangBang relies on tools like ChatGPT and Claude, along with AI-embedded in the sending platforms.

Xavier's top advice for founders wanting to leverage AI? "Start experimenting as soon as possible."

But he’s clear about the limitations too: always double-check AI outputs—it's great, but it can miss the mark sometimes.

The Future of Lead Gen

The lead generation industry has always relied heavily on virtual assistants but this is already changing - AI can handle many of these tasks. 

Xavier sees the lead gen industry splitting into two paths: fully automated agencies using AI for everything, and high-touch, low-volume agencies focused on deeply personalized outreach.

While AI will continue to revolutionize the industry, it will also make it easier to detect spam—a challenge that cold email lead gen agencies will need to tackle.
